An investigation has been launched after a boiler was stolen from outside a house in Gobowen.

The working boiler was left outside the property in Hammonds Place for collection between 5pm on January 24 and 3.45pm on January 25.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "An unknown male and female has parked up in a white Citroen type van, got out and knocked on the door of the house. After a few attempts male has walked up to the old boiler, picked it up, loaded it into the van and drove off with the female."

The man is described as 1.85m tall, tanned, wearing a high-vis jacket, medium build, dark hair, beard, black hoodie, dark trousers and white shoes, while the woman is described as 1.70m tall, wearing a dark shirt, dark trousers, dark shoes, something on her head, hoodie and of stocky build.
