PLANS ARE progressing well for the 2018 Show with Jester Jack Green and Kaleidoscope returning and The Hicksters providing music for the first time in Llanfechain.

As always the show will be focusing on providing lots of entertainment throughout the day, Bank Holiday Monday, August 27, for all the family.

For those interested in the competition element of the show, new this year in the ‘At Home’ section of the schedule is a Herb Container. As spring arrives get planting those vegetables and flowers and don’t forget the potato in a bucket.

For the art, craft and photography enthusiasts the classes are listed below to give everyone lots of time to get creative.

Open Art: 1, 1918 – 2018; 2, A Collection of items to include seashells; 3, A Magical World; 4, ‘Colourful’ influenced by Islamic Design; 5, Mattisse inspired Collage; 6, Plastic Ocean.

Art – 16 years and under: 1, Fantasy World; 2, Picture of a Flying Insect; 3, Islamic Pattern Colouring (obtainable from Llanfechain Community Shop in August).

Maximum size for the art exhibits is 36” x 48” overall, including mounting or frame.
