PARENTS are being advised to keep an eye on Powys County Council's website to find out if their school is closed tomorrow morning.

The Met Office has issued another yellow warning for the region, for icy conditions between 7pm tonight and 9am tomorrow morning.

Today, over 30 schools were closed in the county due to the snow and icy conditions.

Tonight temperatures are set to fall to around freezing in the early hours but should rise tomorrow to a possible high of 7 degrees Celsius by tomorrow afternoon.

Roads have cleared today and gritting of primary routes is taking place now and is also set to be done at 4am tomorrow morning.

A spokeswoman for Powys Council said: "The best advice is for parents to keep an eye on out website tomorrow morning.

"At the moment the majority of schools are expected to be open.

"Any schools who take the decision to close due to the conditions will be uploading their details to the website."
