An all-day art collaborative workshop at Llanfyllin High School has led to pupils creating a stunning display for their peers.
A small number of Key Stage Three pupils joined forces with artists Amy Sterly and Sophie Kumar Taylor as part of a Criw Celf Oriel Davies project that provided an opportunity for enthusiastic and more able and talented young artists to meet and work with professional artists.
Pupils were off timetable all day and spent their time developing ideas on various themes including under the sea, seasons, in the sky, cultures of the world and pollution using recycled materials to create an installation artwork to fit into a window space in a main part of the school.
Head of Art, Mr Morgan said the project was an "immense success and a very enriching experience for the pupils involved with an artistic outcome that adds to the school environment at Llanfyllin High School."
