THE Oswestry and Border Counties Advertizer has signed up the Hope House Children’s Hospice annual Business Challenge.

The charity are offering to lend businesses £50 with the aim of making the money grow as much as possible through cake sales, sporting events, car boot sales and other daring challenges.

The Advertizer team signed up to the challenge in January and already have a number of exciting fundraising ideas in mind.

Editor Richard Jones said: “I can’t think of a better way to have lots of fun with your work colleagues while raising money for such a great cause.

“We already have a number of ideas on how we can make our money grow but I also encourage our readers to get involved and contact us with any ideas that might help us increase our funds.”

Lynsey Kilvert, Hope House fundraiser, said she was delighted to have the Advertizer on-board and also hopes other businesses will follow suit and test their organisation’s ingenuity and entrepreneurship during 2015.

She said: “We are delighted the Advertizer has signed up to 2015 business challenge."
