THE funeral of a former male model whose burnt remains were found in the grounds of an Alvechurch house has taken place.
Andre Nunes, 47, vanished from his home in Selly Oak, Birmingham, in 2005, and his body was found two years later by investigators searching a detached property known as Moorlands in Lilley Green Road. The funeral took place last Friday.
Two men were jailed earlier this month for his murder and kidnap and during the trial, it was discussed how Mr Nunes could have been the victim of mistaken identity.
Michael Weldon, 56, of Toll House Road, Rednal, and Mark Price, 41, of Wharf Road, Birmingham, were jailed on Friday, August 8.
