Assurances over flooding

VILLAGERS in St Martins and Weston Rhyn have been assured that Welsh Water is now working with all interested parties to solve problems of flooding in the two villages.
The company had achieved a great deal recently, setting up flooding forums where villagers could report incidents in the two villages.
And he said that even when it was not the direct responsibility of Welsh Water the company was still prepared to investigate.
"Sometimes these problems are not those of Welsh Water but the highways authority, but we investigate all of them within that section so we can have a really clear picture of what is causing it," he said.
He said that the company was willing to be proactive in the investigations working together with the other agencies including Severn Trent, Highways Agency and the Borough Council.
