One dead as car leaves road near Chirk

A MOTORIST has repotedly died after leaving the A483 near Chirk and going down an embankment.

Emergency services were called at 11.43am today, Monday, and North Wales Police attended.

It is thought that there was only one vehicle involved in the indident.

The A5 was closed off in both directions earlier today (Monday) between the Gledrid and Halton roundabouts.
