WELSH politics, and in particular the Lib Dems, have been rocked by recent allegations against Assembly member for Montgomeryshire, Mick Bates.

In the light of the allegation, are you happy for him to remain your AM?

This really is a spurious vote - it's not rocket science to discover that you can register multiple votes by clearing your internet cache each time, so we must assume that certain LibDems (no names mentioned) are working overtime at their computers to try to give Bates a positive spin. Since his actions were so completely indefensible, it is very difficult to imagine that so many people have truly voted in support.

Suddenly 400 NO votes! Does WJ now accuse one or two ‘no names mentioned’ Conservatives for acting on his/her advice, so discreetly given? Such undemocratic Polls are, indeed, a sham, and quite improper, especially when careers/personal reputations might be at stake. Public figures of any political party should be held to account, but decisions must be taken by ALL voters when properly informed of ALL facts. I will never again believe in any Poll conducted electronically.
