A FAMILY who died in a second tragic incident in the Oswestry area in the last 17 months have been named locally as the McFall family
The bodies of who are thought to be Sue McFall and her 18-year-old daughter Francesca, were found at their home in Hampton Road, a shocking echo of the Osbaston House murders of 18 months ago, where a businessman shot and killed his wife and daughter before killing himself.
In a further bizarre similarity the body of Hugh McFall was later found having apparently killed himself. Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the tragedies.
In yet another echo of the Foster murders at Osbaston House 17 months ago, it later transpired that Francesca had also been on facebook shortly before 10.20 the previous night.
Police raced to a house in Hampton Road in Oswestry at around 5 am on Friday morning and found the bodies of the mother and daughter. The cause of their deaths has not yet been confirmed.
Police on the scene in Hampton Road this morning.
Around 40 officers were involved and imposed a cordon of around 120 yards of road near the scene. Forensic officers later entered the house which stands behind a beech hedge. A white trailer stood outside the house.
A man’s body, believed to be flower importer Hugh McFall, was found at around 9.30 am at a unit he rented in St. Martins.
Police say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.
Francesa, a former head girl at The Marches School, had attended Shrewsbury Sixth Form College but had returned to Oswestry to attend Oswestry School.
Susan, who worked part-time at the HSBC, in Oswestry, had a son and daughter by a previous marriage.
Hugh ran a market garden business. He was a supplier of flowers to stores including Stans Superstore at St. Martins.
