MORE than 2000 homes across Chester are without power this morning (Saturday, January 16) because of a cable fault.
Homes across areas including Lache lost power at about 10am on Saturday.
A Scottish Power spokeswoman said it was due to a cable fault and that engineers are on site trying to resolve the problem.
She apologised for the inconvenience and said engineers hoped to get the power back on "as soon as possible."
