THE owners of an Oswestry shop that sells vapes say they are angry after being targeted by thieves last week.

Management at Oswestry Vapes in Albion Hill, have offered a £1,000 reward for information that leads to the identification of people who raided her shop at around 1am on January 3.

They said they do not know whether the shop was deliberately targeted by the thieves but admitted being left ‘annoyed’ by the incident.

“We don’t think we were targeted – it’s not like someone has a vendetta against us,” they said.

“You don’t know if they targeted us because they think they would have made money – I just couldn’t tell you.

“I still feel really angry about this – the police asked if I wanted to make a statement and I wanted to because I didn’t give them permission to enter my property.

“I didn’t give them permission to enter the premises and most definitely didn’t give them permission to take my goods.

“It’s left me with a door that I need to replace which is super annoying.

“It’s an incident that’s impacting on more than one person.”

And they called on anyone with information to get in touch.

They added: “If there’s anything, any little piece of information that they might not think is important is always worth telling to the police.

“I was able to give the police a lot of information and we were able to walk around the area where they were lost on foot.

“Hopefully there are properties that have ring doorbells in the area and anything information is better than nothing.

“Thankfully, we have been able to reopen.”
