OTHER NEWS:

Clive Knight, Oswestry Team Tennis, chairman, wished them good luck.

He said: “Oswestry Team Tennis is based in Cae Glas Park with more than 140 members – primarily children – and is aiming to raise £100,000 for the clubhouse.

“It has fantastically already raised 50 per cent of this but over the next 12 months we have the aim to start building the clubhouse in summer 2024.

“The clubhouse will support Oswestry Team Tennis which is a registered charity to be an even more key part of the community in bringing local people together, improving social interactions and getting all ages and abilities together to play tennis and have fun."
