OSWESTRY Town Market is gearing up for its second 'charity market' of the year at the Bailey Head.

Charitable organizations are invited to participate with complimentary stalls to raise awareness, offer advice, recruit volunteers, or fundraise for their causes, at the event on Friday, September 1.

Among the notable attendees will be The Qube, Horatio’s Garden, Hope House, and Shropshire Recovery, among others, all ready to engage with the community.

“Markets have always provided a wider value to our historic town and are a great arena through which we can bring people together and support the community.

A beloved highlight of the event will be the return of the teddy bear zip wire by the Crafty Knitters, supporting the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. T

he industrious Oswestry knitting group has dedicated their time to craft 'Air Ambulance Teddies,' which will be available for purchase at their market stall for £5 each.

Each teddy will embark on a thrilling zip wire journey from the Guildhall's summit, descending to the Bailey Head, where it will be honored with a certificate.
