THE famous MMA fighter Paddy 'the Baddy' Pimblett spent his Tuesday evening last night with his fiancée at The Townhouse in Oswestry, where they had dinner.

The Liverpool fighter, Paddy Pimblett, has appeared on the Facebook page of the Oswestry restaurant.

The fighter, who went viral after his fight when he called for more mental health support for men, and was taking a few days off in Oswestry, staying at a cabin in Selattyn with his fiancée and dog.

A spokesman from The Townhouse in Oswestry, said: "He was lovely, really friendly and polite.

"He actually tried to come the day before to dine with us but we were closed, so he called and he made a reservation for the evening.

"We had customers and staff waiting for him to finish dinner to ask for pictures."

According to the staff they enjoyed a big meal, with starters, mains and treats, and after he was socialising with fans and taking pictures.

"He was very complimentary of the food, and his fiancée even said it was the best food they had in ages," a spokesman added.

A mural was set up in Scotland in his honour.

The mural comes after the UFC star shared an emotional message following his close friend taking his own life hours before his weigh in on Friday morning.

"There's a stigma in this world that men can't talk. Listen if you're a man and you've got weight on your shoulders and you think that the only way to solve is by killing yourself please speak to someone," spelled the mural.
