An elderly woman was airlifted to hospital on Sunday following a crash which closed the A5 near Oswestry.
Emergency services were called to the collision between two cars and a motorhome near the Queen's Head junction at around 2.45pm.
A spokesperson for the West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "A woman in her 70s was initially trapped for a while. She was given pain relief and then taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital via air ambulance.
"Another patient was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital by land ambulance."
The road was closed for a number of hours and traffic was diverted through West Felton.
