WITH the sixth anniversary of the double murder at Osbaston House fast approaching, estate agents are no closer to selling the infamous property.
The 16-acre site was put on the market over two years ago after Christopher Foster dramatically shot his wife, Jill and 15-year-old daughter Kirstie in August 2008. He went on to kill the family horses and dogs, then set fire to the property. Foster died in the blaze which took three days to dampen down.
Last August, Shrewsbury based agency, Strutt and Parker and co-agents Fisher German in Stafford, confirmed that the site has been under offer since the end of 2012.
However, a year later and Lucy Dale from Strutt and Parker has confirmed that there has been no further movements despite the property having planning permission for a seven bedroom principal property with a detached cottage and stable block on a different location to the original house which was demolished at the end of 2011.
