Firefighters to the rescue as dog gets head stuck in kissing gate

AN OSWESTRY dog owner called the fire service to report her pet was stuck in the railings of a gate.

The incident which took place on Sunday, July 27 at 12.29pm, involved a dog which got his head stuck in the railings of a kissing gate near the old fort.

The fire service removed the gate from its hinges in order to release the dog.

The dog was given a bowl of water and was completely fine after his ordeal.
