A COMBINE harvester caught fire at a field near an industrial estate outside Oswestry on Wednesday.
Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service was called to the field near Rednal Industrial Estate Site B at around 10pm.
The machinery caught fire and spread to include 50m x 30m of crop straw.
Fire engines from Ellesmere and Baschurch were sent to tackle the fire, and used four hose reel jets, beaters and a thermal imaging camera while at the scene.
The fire was extinguished at around 11.25pm.
