WELSHPOOL Sharks Swimming Club held the second of its gala series at the town’s Flash Leisure Centre this month.
The club’s up and coming swimmers took part in a number of styles with a backstroke, butterfly and individual medley for boys and girls.
The club continues to go from strength with a thriving membership geared toward the club ethos of promoting healthy lifestyles and competitive swimming.
The club trains three nights a week under head coach Alan Webster and his team of volunteer coaches.
Sessions take place on Monday from 7-8pm and Friday from 7-8pm while on Wednesday a two hour session is held from 7-9pm.
The up and coming club has a growing junior section and regularly takes part in regional open meetings as well as national championship events and are current members East Clwyd Junior Swimming League.
