Whitchurch's Grocontinental is set to once again adorn the shirts of youngsters at the town's football club.
The company, based on the Business Park, have sponsored Whitchurch Alport under-14 boys’ team for a second season by providing training kit for players.
Last year, the company donated a full playing kit to the squad.
Commercial manager, Ben Price, attended a training session to officially hand over the new kit to team captain, Freddy, and manager, Andy Molyneux, which he was delighted about.
“We are very fortunate that Grocontinental has generously supported us for the 2018/2019 season," said Andy.
"With their playing kit and now the new training kit with their initials on the tops, the players look extremely professional.
“Good quality kit for players is extremely expensive and without Grocontinental’s assistance, we would simply not have been able to finance new training gear this season.”
Ben added: "The players really look the part in their new training kit and with an excellent run of early season results, they are definitely on the right track.
"We hope that they can keep up the great form for the rest of the season.”
If any boys or girls, aged between 7 and 16, are interested in playing football, they should contact Andy Molyneux on 07779 744229 or by email at wajfcvicechair@gmail.com
