Two cats died in a serious house blaze in Flintshire.
Firefighters spent four hours tackling a blaze on Woodland Drive, Flint, after a house fire was reported to emergency services at 5pm on Wednesday.
The fire saw neighbouring houses evacuated and a spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said there were no injuries following the incident.

But the fate of the two domestic cats was not so fortunate.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "The fire started between two car ports and spread to a property. There was 100 per cent smoke damage to the property and 50 per cent fire damage to the hall and stairway.
"Unfortunately two cats died in the fire but there were no injuries to the occupants. A stop was called at 8.54pm and the cause is under investigation."
There is currently no known cause to the blaze.
