THE FALLEN are set to be remembered at services in Oswestry.

A war graves ceremony will be held at Oswestry Cemetery at 2pm on Sunday, November 4.

Members of the public are invited to come and place a small wooden cross (provided by the Royal British Legion) on each of the war graves,

There will be a short ceremony by the gates and at the Cenotaph.

The service will be conducted by the Rev Harvey Gibbons, mayor of Oswestry Cllr Sandy Best will attend as well as standard bearers and a bugler.

The Remembrance Day Parade will be held on Sunday, November 11.

The parade will assemble at the Guildhall, Bailey Head at around 10am.

Members of the public will be welcome to join the parade and/or lay a wreath at the park gates.

The parade will start at around 10.40am and arrive at the park gates just before 11am.

Those who would like to lay a wreath, but cannot manage the parade, are welcome to join in with the wreath laying at the park gates.
