Residents in Llanfyllin are set to be given their chance to have their say about work to cover over a ford at a public meeting.
This evening (Wednesday, September 19) at 6pm, prior to the Town Council Meeting in Llanfyllin Public Institute, an open meeting will be held to discuss work on the ford, which is next to the Tabernacl Chapel, in Bridge Street.
Work has been halted on plans to cover the ford with concrete after some residents objected to the work.
A statement from the Town Council said: "If you have any views concerning the Ford by the Tabernacl Chapel or want to know more about the proposed plans for the ford there will be a public consultation meeting at Llanfyllin Institute 6pm tonight."
