As the leaves on the trees begin to turn next to the A41, it means that tents and campervans will roll onto land off the main road to celebrate the Malpas Yesteryear Rally.

The fields outside the village were packed full of treats for every mechanic, steam freaks and petrol head in the area as the popular event was packed full of vehicles for everyone.

Thousands of visitors and exhibitors were on site to look at cars, tractors, steam engines, helicopters, motorbikes, as well as the more sedate versions of travel.

Organisers were able to use a drone to take in the full wonder of the size of the event, and it shows off how many competitors and engine fans there were.

They were delighted with how the rally went, proving to be once more one of the most popular of its kind.

Chief Steward Lee Fairhurst said: "I would personally like to thank all the stewards for helping to set up the rally and [running it] over the weekend.

"Without all the volunteers the rally just would not be possible."
