A MAN has appeared in court in relation to an alleged firearms offence.
Kieran Prime, 21, of Queens Flat in Oswald Road, Oswestry has been charged with attempting to possess a firearm and ammunition with intent to endanger life.
At around 12.40pm on Thursday, September 6, officers from the Regional Organised Crime Unit West Midlands (ROCU WM) conducted a planned firearms operation at Queens Flats.
It was part of a joint operation between Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS).
Prime appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court, where he was remanded in custody to be appear at court on a date to be confirmed.
A 19-year-old woman who was also arrested has been released under investigation.
