CUSTOMERS a mobility equipment store have taken part in a prize draw.

Ableworld, the UK’s leading mobility retailer ran the draw in their Gobowen store, with £500 worth of Ableworld vouchers up for grabs.

There were four winners who took home a range of goodies from the store.

Mrs Beddows who won £250 in gift vouchers was shocked when she was given the good news. Her daughter said: "I’m very pleased my mum won! We are going get a new lightweight wheelchair so we can go for days out and shopping!"

Mr Parry, won £150 in gift vouchers, said: "I’m very happy I won this time as I’ve entered every year since the competition began, I’m going to use the voucher to help pay for my scooters to be serviced!"

Staff at the store, located at the RJAH Orthopaedic Hospital in Gobowen wanted to give something back to the community who have continued to support them since their opening in 2004.

Store manager Mike Tomlinson said “We have a lot of regular customers and sometimes it’s just nice to be able to thank them for their support and loyalty.

"With us being tucked inside the RJAH Orthopaedic Hospital not everyone is aware we are here, or aware of the range of products and services we can offer to the local community and we are hoping to raise that awareness.”
