THE A5 near Chirk reopened following a spillage of a large quantity of milk.
The fire service reported that just before 5.30am a lorry shed its load of 2L milk bottles across the road, with some 50L disappearing down the drains.
The truck itself was not involved in an accident, it is just thought to have been an unsecured load.
The fire service were called out to close to road and help with the cleanup, although they have left the scene and the area is now in the hands of the highways agency.
The road between the Gledrid and Halton roundabouts reopened and traffic was moving again by 10am.
