There was a rumble of the past on the outskirts of Whitchurch last weekend with a gathering of military enthusiasts at Grindley Brook.

'War in the Brook' brought together hundreds of people to remember the hardships and technical parts of the World wars, and was organised by a group called Military Radio.

They are are a group of friends that have been Military radio collectors for many years some have served with the Military and used the radio in action, with a collection of Radio vehicles. trailers and electronic warfare kit we have experience of working with Clansman, Mel, Racal, Plessey, Larkspur, Ptarmigan, triffid, Harris and much more.

The group was supported at the event by a number of military vehicles, such as motorcycles, Jeeps, transport and delivery trucks, while there plenty of First World War re-enactors on-hand to set up camp for the event as well as show off their weaponry.
