Two members of staff from an Oswestry Salon are hosting a marathon pamper day to raise money for Lingen Davies Cancer Fund.

Katie O'Hara and Abbie Williams from Butterfly Beautique will be hosting the event on Thursday, August 30 at the salon from 9am to 8pm, as well as hosting a charity waxathon in The Townhouse from 10am to 12pm.

The waxathon will see businessmen from across Oswestry taking part, and the beauticians have already roped in Tom Jones from Liar Liar Cafe and Ben Knowles from the British Ironwork Centre, but are appealing for more men to get waxed for charity.

The salon will be offering eyebrow shaping, tinting and facial waxing all day, as well as selling raffle tickets for £1 which include prizes such as a top to toe pamper at the salon.

Katie and Abbie will also be completed a charity parachute jump in Whitchurch on September 7.
