A MAN was injured after being knocked off his bicycle by a car.
The cyclist was knocked off his bicycle in Church Street, Whittington shortly before 7.45pm on Saturday evening.
Insp Tracy Ryan, of West Mercia Police said that the cyclist was riding in the direction of Gobowen near the church when a silver car pulled out in front of him.
In a Twitter post, a spokesman for the Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "The cyclist has a dislocated shoulder. Unfortunately the car did not stop. If anyone saw the incident or has details of the car please phone on 101 and quote incident ref 641S 100818."
