Zech, of Oswestry, and Jamie, from Weston Rhyn, will be accompanied by family members on the trip, which starts BikeWorks in Beatrice Street on Monday morning (August 13).

The trip, which will take around nine hours, will include a visit to Hope House Children's Hospice in Morda and will also pass through Welshpool, Newtown, Caersws, Llandinam, Llanidloes and Llangurig.

The boys have received more than £700 so far on their online fundraising page, with a further £127 raised at a coffee morning.

on the just Giving website, Zech's mother Lisa said: "They then decided they would like to try and raise some money and awareness for a local charity. Many charity's were discussed, however one charity in particular was the favourite. Hope House.

"Hope House has been a charity we have supported for many years, within our family; a charity which my son and daughter have both grown up aware of and understanding what they do for so many people."
