A CANAL trip gave a group young carers have enjoyed a fun day out.
Young Carers, the charity that supports young people who care for family members, had a canal trip and barbecue at Canal Central in Maesbury.
Borderland Rotary Club arranged for Cracker the shirehorse to pull the Countess narrowboat from Canal Central to Aston Nature Reserve and back.
A spokesman for the club said: "It was then it was elbows up for a Barbecue provided by the canal side venue. A good time was had by all!"
