We GOT through our Europa League second round qualifier against Lincoln Red Imps with a 'job done' performance.

I told the players beforehand that we weren't going to turn up and they were going to let us have it and roll over and let us play like they did at home.

We played well at home and while we had [possession, we also had chances too. It could have been 4-1; if we had come away three or 4-1, then no-one could have had any reservations on that scoreline.

But at 2-1, I knew it was going to be tough for us and when they got that goal to make it 2-2 on aggregate, could we get that goal?

I don't think we started well and they had lots of possession, but once we made a change at half-time I was much happier. We were livelier up front, we got behind them and we had the wind with us in the second half too.

But I would say it was a better result than performance to be honest.

In Europe, you need that. You can't be at your best all the time and I know that. At the end of the day, the record books show that we got through to the third round. A few days on I'm happy but I was disappointed on the night.
