SMOKE was seen billowing from a derelict cricket club.
North Wales Fire and Rescue was called shortly before 6.30pm yesterday to Stryt Isa, Hope, on the site of the derelict Hope Cricket Club.
A fire service spokesman said: "A quantity of rubbish was alight. No casualties were involved.
"We sent two pumps, one from Deeside and one from Wrexham, and they used one hose reel and two breathing apparatus."
