SHOPPING went up in flames after being placed on a cooker, fire chiefs have said.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call just after 10.45am on Tuesday reporting a kitchen blaze at an address in Bryn Garth, Penyffordd.
Two crews were sent to the scene to find the blaze had been extinguished prior to their arrival.
A spokesman for the fire and rescue service confirmed the damage was confined to some shopping which had been placed on top of a cooker.
