A PRIMARY school nursery has been praised by inspectors
A Care Inspectorate Wales report found that children at the Ladybirds Nursery at Llansantffraid Church in Wales Primary School were "flourishing, enjoy attending and are happy to play and take part".
The report added: "They actively participate in stimulating play-based learning, and leaders have an effective system to self-evaluate the service and plan for improvement."
The inspection took place in April after a previous inspection conducted by Estyn in September 2017.
This inspection stated that the nursery was 'good' in all aspects.
It said: "A friendly and inclusive ethos ensures that children learn happily through play."
However in the hope to achieve excellence across the board, the Estyn inspection report listed several recommendations - something that the most recent report feels has been addressed fully.
The CIW report said: "All recommendations made at the last inspection were met. In addition, leaders have worked on increasing staff, parents and children’s awareness and use of the Welsh language. The number of bilingual signs has been increased and Welsh resources purchased to include more books and technology."
