A WELL-KNOWN fundraiser has already done her bit to spread some festive cheer.
Chloe the Elf has presented a cheque for £257 to Chirk's Christmas lights Committee.
The funds were raised with a raffle at a fun day held at Chirk AAA Sports and Social Club last month.
Chloe Jade Davies, 18, made the headlines last year as she crept around the town, posing at different locations in a bid to get children to behave before Father Christmas made his appearance.
She took inspiration from the nationwide 'Elf on the Shelf' craze and posted her efforts on social media pages, which became so popular that she and her mother Helen Pemberton decided to donate money for every 'like' they received on Facebook.
The money went towards hampers of food that were delivered to the staff and patients at Chirk Community Hospital.
