A GRASS blaze in Wrexham was started deliberately, fire chiefs have confirmed.
Firefighters were called out to a blaze in the open at The Dunks in Caia Park at about 7.15pm this evening.
A spokesman for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service told the Leader the incident involved 30 square metres of grass.
One fire crew from Wrexham used a pair of hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
