Award-winning ecommerce company, Net World Sports, founded in Kinnerley, has welcomed three new graduates to their fast-growing team as part of its internal placement scheme.

Now in its second year, the graduate scheme at the sports equipment retailer will see the new recruits rotate across varying teams for 12 months before deciding on the department they’d like to work in.

Adam Keating, Andrew Hughes and Ryan Roberts have all taken up full-time positions at the online retailer’s HQ in Wrexham, where they have joined the Inbound Enquiries team until October. They will later move into Customer Care, Marketing and Operations on a three-month rotation, giving them a great insight into all aspects of the business.

As well as learning from department leads and members of each team, the new graduates have all been assigned mentors from within the company who will work closely with them over the next year. Rachel Wedley, Ed Charles-Jones and Caitlyn Smart had to go through an internal recruitment process for the mentoring position and are all enjoying the additional responsibilities they have earned themselves.

Sophie Turner, HR manager at Net World Sports said: “We’re really excited to kick-off our graduate placement scheme for the second year running. It’s a fantastic opportunity for our new graduates to get a real feel for the business and exactly how we operate. From developing new products and taking them to market to speaking directly to our customers, the next year will give our graduates a rich understanding of what goes on behind the scenes at one of the UK’s fastest-growing companies.

“Last year’s graduates, Sophie and Will, have made a huge impact on the business in such a short space of time and we’re sure that Adam, Andrew and Ryan will do the same. They all have bags of energy and enthusiasm and we’re excited to see what they will bring to the business over the next 12 months.”
