POLICE in Oswestry are investigating several break-ins break-ins at town businesses.

A travel agents on Beatrice Street was broken into between 8pm on Friday, July 12 and 8.30am the next day.

Doors were damaged, a small amount of cash was taken and unsuccessful attempts made to steal chained charity boxes. Anyone with information can contact West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident reference 0150s 130718.

There were also several break-ins at business units at the Maes y Clawdd Industrial Estate on Maesbury Road overnight on July 15-16. Damage and significant thefts were reported (incident reference: 0087s 160718).

An attempt was made to break into a salon in Church Street, Oswestry between 4.30pm on Friday, July 13 and 8.45am yesterday (July 17). Locks and doors were damaged but no entry was reported (incident reference: 0151s 170718).

A West Mercia Police spokesman appealed for anyone with information to connect them, added: " Remain vigilant around your area and report suspicious persons, vehicles or activity to the Police on 101.
