YOUNGSTERS used their artistic talents to commemorate the heroes of the First World War.
Year 10 Art students from The Marches School created a silhouette painting of soldiers at Welsh Walls, Oswestry.
The students involved were Millie Dulson, Eli Harrington, Sophie Howard, Elouise Hughes, Eloise Walker and Hannah West.
Laura Herald, art teacher at the Marches School, said: “What a powerful project for our GCSE students to be part of.
"Throughout the day locals cheered and commented on the success of this painting. Our students had a big smile on their faces and a memorable piece of work for all to see.”
The mural will be part of the Wilfred Owen Festival, which will be held from September 15 - November 17.
