AN inquest has been opened into the death of a factory worker from Wrexham.
Clive Brynmor Dykes, who was 54, died at his home address in Garner Road, Caia Park, on Wednesday, July 11 following a fire.
John Gittins, coroner for North Wales East and Centre, told a hearing at Ruthin that paramedics at the scene found an unconscious man in the flat and attempted CPR, but Mr Dykes had already died.
The coroner said there was no indication at this stage that the man’s death was caused by the fire and that a post-mortem examination needed to be conducted before a full assessment could be made.
The inquest was adjourned until later this year.
