A GROUP that promotes activities and education on later life is gearing up for an event.
Oswestry University of the Third Age (U3A) will hold a presentation day at the Memorial Hall from 10am to midday on Tuesday, July 17.
The day will include presentations from several of Oswestry U3A's activity groups.
A U3A spokesman said: "Our members meet to share and develop educational, social and creative interests. It's all voluntary, run in informal activity sessions covering a wide range of subjects.
"We have currently over 30 interest groups including art, gardening, languages, mahjong and walking. If you are keen to develop an interest, try something new or make new friends, do come along to meet us."
