I've BEEN impressed with England, but I do think it's been easy and people are going overboard. Let's get real; we've not played a high standard of opposition.

But it's good – it's a new formation and one that gets the attacking players involved. But we need to see them against some decent opposition before I make the judgement of how good they are.

England should be putting six past Panama when belgium put five past Tunisia. It's great for the country and gets everyone in a positive mood.

However, I do think the criticism of Raheem Sterling is harsh, especially after the season he's had with Manchester City. He got 16 or 17 goals and assist wise, he's had a great year. I think t here's too much pressure with huge expectation levels.

Yes, he';s missed some big chances – there was one in the first few minutes of the Tunisia game which was glaring, so he's going to get stick for that.

I think there's more to come from Sterling.

Southgate has gone about himself very well. I thought he handled the teamsheet training gaffe well. he hasn't done anything to tarnish his reputation as a person i.e out getting drunk etc. He's clean-cut and good for the country.

I think the players enjoy his style of management; he's not an autocratic coach and let's the players have their say and the p,layers really seem to be enjoying and embracing Steve Holland's training.

He seems to be doing a fine job as a manager, bearing in mind he stepped into the job reluctantly.

There seems to be a genuine structure within this England side. I know I've said wait until they play a better team, but they at least look drilled and well organised.

There are some really good footballers in that side. All three of the centre-halves can play and they're all comfortable on the ball.

He has Jordan Henderson in there, who people moan about but he's done a great job while the attacking players like Jesse Lingard and Dele Ali are excellent going forward.

Under Roy Hodgson it was boring and the death of football but this groups of players is good to watch and has players other managers wouldn't have time for.
