Dogs Trust Shrewsbury is hoping dog-loving locals will donate everything from chocolates to experience days for this year’s summer Fun Day.

With less than a month to go, it’s a case of all paws on deck for their Fun Day, on Sunday July 1, which is the biggest fund raising event of the year for the rehoming centre.

Lee Pogson, supporter relations officer and organiser of the event, says: “Our raffle and tombola always help us raise lots of pounds for our gorgeous dogs, but with less than a month to go we’d love to have more goodies to make them as successful as in previous years. We are looking for toys and teddies for children, chocolates, wine and if local business could donate too, offering things such as spa days or a meal for two, that would be fantastic.”

The summer Fun Day will be held at Dogs Trust Shrewsbury on Sunday July 1, 12pm-4pm.

There will be fun and games for all the family and four-legged friends including fun dog show competitions, games and activities for children and stalls full of delights for four-legged and two-legged friends. If you would like to donate something to the raffle or tombola please pop along to the centre at Roden Lane Farm, Telford, TF6 6BP.
