Police were called to the scene today in Park Hall.
A wartime shell has been discovered in Park Hall today.
West Mercia Police released a statement saying: "Earlier today police were informed what is believed to be an old wartime shell was found at a site in Park Crescent in Park Hall in Oswestry.
"Explosives Ordnance Disposal will attend the site as a precaution to dispose of the item safely."
