Emergency services were called on Saturday night after an accident on the outskirts of Oswestry blocked the road.
The incident on the Trefonen Road involved two vehicles and happened at around 5.20pm and saw paramedics, firefighters from Oswestry and Ellesmere, and police called out to the scene.
A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The road traffic collision involving two private vehicles.
"No persons found to be trapped."
Meanwhile, firefighters from Oswestry had been called to Trefonen Road shortly before 4pm to remove a ring from the middle finger of someone's hand after it got stuck.
They were on scene for around half an hour.
