The body of a man has been found following the search for a missing man from Gobowen.
The discovery was made in Oswestry during the search of Gareth Wyn Stephens, 41, who was reported missing on May 16.
A spokesman from West Mercia Police said: "His next of kin has been informed and have requested that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.
"Formal identification is yet to take place and the death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
"We would like to thank the public and the media for their help in sharing an earlier appeal."
