A local feature film is holding final auditions on Saturday, May 26. But these auditions are specifically for young men, aged from 16-25.
Rocking Horse Studios have so far been unable to find the right actors for these roles and they believe there is a reason for that.
"There certainly seems to be a stigma attached to young men in this area getting involved in acting," said Gareth Thomas, writer/director of the film.
"We have spent the last few weeks talking to people about this and trying to break that stigma."
The filmmakers have been on Radio Shropshire talking about the issue and recently shot a promotional video at Liar Liar Cafe in Oswestry.
So for any "local lads" out there, the auditions are being held at The Oswestry Memorial Hall on Saturday, May 26. Contact rockinghorsestudios1207@gmail.com or call 07488340440 to book a slot and order your Audition Pack.
